Sub Rosa Lingerie very kindly sent me the Fifty Shades of Grey Yours and Mine Vibrating Love Ring in return for an honest review.
First Impressions
Sub Rosa Lingerie sent the parcel very promptly in discrete packaging. No one would ever guess what is enclosed inside.
As with all of the other products I have from the Fifty Shades of Grey range the packaging is quite impressive. It is a lovely black box with a glossy finish. Both the product name and a photograph of the product is featured on the front. On the back of the box is a small description of the product along with a quote from the Fifty Shades of Grey book. The packaging really does match the Fifty Shades of Grey theme perfectly.
Inside the box is the Love Ring, as well as a small instruction and care booklet, a small grey satin drawstring bag and extra batteries. I was very impressed with the extra batteries as the Love Ring takes small watch type ones that can be tricky to find, as well as this the batteries often do not last very long.
The Love Ring feels of excellent quality, is has no tacky moulding seems and is very soft to the touch. The clitoral stimulator of the Love Ring has the wording “Fifty Shades of Grey” imprinted into the silicone adding to the Fifty Shades of Grey theme.
Material & Measurements
The Love Ring is made out of silicone, so is a completely body safe material that doesn’t harbour bacteria. As well as being more hygienic in comparison to other materials it does not collect lots of dust and is very easy to clean.
The Love Ring is stretchy making it able to fit penises from 1.35 to 3 inches in diameter.
Powering Up
In order to turn on the Love Ring you simply press a small button that is on the side of the bullet. It is a single speed, but provides quite powerful steady vibrations.
During Use
The silicone ring easily slid onto my partner’s penis with very little fuss, this was great as lots of rings require using lubricant otherwise cause friction when putting on. The Love Ring is quite stretchy, so you are also able to easily put it into place comfortably. Despite being stretchy the Love Ring was tight enough to stay in place during intercourse, as well as making my partners penis feel harder as expected with cock rings.
The vibrations are strong and steady which stimulated the clitoris very well. I found this very enjoyable, as it spiced up things creating a different sensation. I found that it did not work very well in many positions other than missionary, but it made a great improvement.
